Mostly Sane – Women Who Inspired Me

Who would have thought that a young woman from Mumbai would one day become one of the most successful entrepreneurs in India, surprisingly in an industry that didn’t exist 10 years ago.

The name of that girl is Prajakta Koli, aka Mostly Sane.

Although Prajakta’s rise to fame appears to have occurred suddenly, it has been years in the making. In a world where everybody dreams to be a doctor, engineer, or scientist in childhood, she wanted to become a radio jockey. Yes, you heard it right. A radio jockey! And that shows that, unlike most kids, she has been a creative thinker since childhood.

But she really found her calling when she started making videos for YouTube. Before she knew it, she had millions of subscribers and followers thanks to her relatable content and infectious personality.

However, Prajakta’s success did not come easily to her. She had to make her way through a male-dominated industry and overcome doubters about her abilities. She persevered, and her hard work paid off when Forbes selected her as one of its 30 under 30 in the entertainment sector. Although she doesn’t need any of this. Her fans and work speak about her success.

Prajakta has gone above and beyond being a successful content creator to use her platform to advocate for important causes. She’s been a vocal supporter of mental health awareness and has worked with associations to spread awareness and support for those struggling with their mental well-being.

Prajakta has also used her power to bring attention to social issues, gender equality, and education. In order to support these causes and utilize her platform to make a positive impact on society, she has collaborated with organizations like UNICEF.
Prajakta remains humble and grounded despite her success. She continues to produce content that resonates with her audience and has never forgotten where she came from. Her journey exemplifies the value of self-discipline, determination, and staying true to oneself.
